I just saw a T.V. commercial for CheapBooks.com and it put a smile on my face… Most big retailers don’t own the generic domain names for their products or their longer-tail variants with “Cheap”, “Buy”, “Great”, “New”, etc…

The commercial was a bit low-budget, but it shows you what a great domain name + comparison engine and affiliate links can do for you. Could YOU buy airtime on Comedy Central with any of your domains? I couldn’t, but CheapBooks.com gives me inspiration! Especially since I own CheapBestsellers.com and CourseBooks.us.
