A bit tongue-in-cheek with the “Life Project” bit, but every time I get a good name, I get a little giddy :)

Most people are looking for receipes for either cocktails or mocktails, and that’s where I can start ranking for keywords. Also might get some type-ins (!) with this one. What Mocktails has that Cocktails doesn’t, however, is a presence at Baby Showers and other events where alcohol doesn’t, well… mix. :)

I would love to own a <city>.com name, but as I mainly catch only drops, I guess I’ll have to settle for their zip codes in .NET :) I do own a Manhattan <zip>.NET which I’m particually fond of though…

In other news, the name I had successfully backordered a few days ago (along with a cast of others) at Pool ended today at somewhere over $300. The name was QuickCharts.com. While it won’t make you rich on PPC, this is an extremely brandable and catchy name… Great Buy!

I was watching the name “AllModem.com“, but I thought it was “All Modern” with an “R” and “N” at the end. Looks are deceiving and copy & paste would have spelled disaster!

You may see more short domains coming up in the feeds, in particular LL-L, L-LL, N-NN, NN-N, L-L-L, N-N-N in both dot NET and dot COM. It funny watching these short dot COMs become available. I have a feeling a year to two down the road, everyone will be forced to get them at Snapnames for more $$…

Oh, TodaySingle.com just dropped. I really like this one. Today Single, Tomorrow… mmm… Hooked Up? Next week… divorced… lol. I dunno… Sounds like a Frager name to me. Man, I wish he would get his own domain name… :p
