Rick Latona Laments

In a post today on his blog, Rick Latona waxes regretfully about not registering more ccTLD domains. I’ve just been to Europe too, and by in large those countries are using their own ccTLD. Even global companies use the local extensions. But, what’s a good bet given you may not understand the language? Short three- and four-letter names I’d imagine…

Way ahead of your Rick! Just yesterday I registered 100 co.cc domains for a $10 donation. A little research (i.e. Wikipedia, lol) shows that in the Cocos Islands English is the primary language, Coconuts are a big export crop and Tourism is on the rise. Here’s a peek at what I got:

discounttickets.co.cc
beachcondos.co.cc
gourmetcoconuts.co.cc
cheapcoconuts.co.cc
motorcyclerentals.co.cc
beachholiday.co.cc
yachtrental.co.cc
ilovecocos.co.cc
cocosrepair.co.cc
summervacations.co.cc
winterbreak.co.cc
visitcocos.co.cc
cocosvacations.co.cc
cocostravel.co.cc
cocosholidays.co.cc
cocoshotels.co.cc
